2024 Scholarship Recipients Awarded

Girls on the Run New Hampshire is proud to announce the two winners of the 10th Annual College Scholarship Awards of $1000! Emily Leclerc, Manchester Central High School and Kaitlyn Pataki, Portsmouth High School.

Emily participated in Girls on the Run at Manchester's Webster Elementary School during her 3rd, 4th and 5th grade years. In her essay, Emily shared the following, "I learned the value of having supportive people around me and still carry the lessons that I learned with me. I am a stronger individual because of Girls on the Run. It made me realize that I want to empower children, which is why I will major in Elementary Education at Endicott College."

Kaitlyn participated in Girls on the Run at Greenland Central School during her 3rd, 4th and 5th grade years.
She shared that, "Sometimes the world can make girls feel small. Sometimes people are mean and make us feel bad about ourselves. When I started running, it became a lot easier to deal with hard things like when other kids are mean. Girls on the Run changed my life and helped me become a stronger, more confident girl." Kaitlyn will attend UNH this fall, majoring in Genetics.
