What's your favorite part about coaching?

Watching the kids progress throughout the season and seeing the confidence grow!

How did you first get involved with GOTR?

Our school needed a new coach when my oldest daughter was in 3rd grade. After going to her first 5k celebration, I was more than happy to assist! I have continued to coach after both my girls have left the academy and currently part of the NH Coach Advisory Panel as well!

What's your favorite GOTR memory?

There are so many to list, but during one of the 5k celebrations I volunteered as the race “sweeper”. One of the final girls to cross the finish line was so motivated and determined she wouldn’t let anything get in her way. I had a few other volunteers jump in to join me and cheer her on to the finish. She kept putting one foot in front of the other to cross that finish line. Seeing the joy on her face and her father’s face was the absolute best! They both were so proud!! That’s GOTR at its finest!

What non-GOTR activities do you enjoy?

Spending time at the lake with my family, cooking, hiking with my husband, and often I’m running road race or volunteering at them

What's your favorite energy award?

Mohawk and the ones my teams make up on their own!

What's your favorite GOTR lesson? Why?

I think the Star Power lesson will always be my favorite. It was such a powerful lesson certainly carried beyond GOTR.

Favorite Food - my moms eggplant parmigiana
Favorite Season - summer/fall (it’s a tie)
Favorite Animal - my cats (my puppy is cute and growing on me though)
